Intuition. Psychic powers. Spiritual gifts. Whatever you like to call, those blessed with such talents have the ability to tap into abilities beyond the mundane world.

Do you have such gifts? If so, what are they, and how do you develop them? In this post, we will explore how to do just that.

Find Your Gifts

The first step is to figure out whether you do have such gifts in the first place.

Some people are absolutely certain that they don't have gifts—or that such things don't exist. Others are even more certain that they do possess these gifts. And then there are those who simply aren't sure, or those who suspect they do but haven't had a chance to explore their full potential.

Bazi offers a quick and easy way to determine whether you do have such gifts. You simply need to look for the presence of certain auspicious stars.

We discussed this in greater detail here. In summary, you should look for the following:

• Taiji Nobleman

• Elegant Seal

• Resource Stars

• Ding and Gui

• Yin birth chart

• Death & Emptiness

The more of these you have, the more likely you have spiritual talent.

But what kind of gifts do you have? How do you narrow it down further?

If you have strong spiritual inclinations, you probably already know your affinities with various metaphysics modalities. These include tarot, runes, oracle cards, energy work, shamanism, crystals, divination, and so on.

But what if you're new to the space? Or, conversely, what if you know you have affinities with many different methods, and don't know where to start?

You could spend months or years mucking around with different methods until you figure out your strengths, the way we did. Or you could use qimen dunjia and 28 Constellations.

For this method, we prefer to use Joey Yap's Qimen Explorer tool. Use it to generate your qimen destiny chart by inputting your date and time of birth. You will get a chart something like this:

First, look in the palace marked 'Destiny'. The Deity of this palace, located in the upper right corner, is your Guardian of Destiny. This is the Deity that you have a special affinity with.

'Deity' here means your ability to tap into a distinct set of spiritual energies, granting you metaphysical abilities. Each deity has unique properties, which lend themselves to different spiritual practices.

Going beyond the Guardian of Destiny, look for other deities with which you enjoy a high degree of affinity (between 5 to 7 stars). Simply count the number of circles at the edge of the palace. The exception is the Dao palace, which stands above all other Deities—even your own Guardian of Destiny.

When you know which Deities you have the strongest affinity with, you can pursue metaphysical practices that synergize with them for maximum effect. Here are some examples:

• Chief: Manifestation, attracting people, charisma, making wishes

• Nine Heaven: Divination, astrology, astral projection, dream interpretation

• Nine Earth: Energy work, grounding, crystals, feng shui

• Moon: Akashic records, dream yoga, meditation, astrology

• Six Harmony: Magnetisation, empathy, hypnotherapy, emotional release therapy

• Snake: Feng shui, weather sensing, dowsing, hypnotherapy, NLP

• Grappling Hook: Energy healing, karmic release, past life memories, ancestral work

• White Tiger: Internal martial arts, hatha yoga, self-healing

• Zhu Que: Prayers, mantras, affirmations

• Black Tortoise: Shamanism, extrasensory perception, psychic readings, hypnotherapy

Practice Makes Perfect

Spiritual gifts are like any other skill: practice makes perfect.

The more you practice your talents, the stronger they become, and the more they bleed over into the rest of your life. For example, qimen dunjia practitioners develop an uncanny sense of timing, allowing them to sense the right time to take action, even before they consult their chart.

You may even develop abilities that are the strengths of other deities. For example, someone with White Tiger as his Guardian of Destiny practices internal martial arts for a long time, with an emphasis on energy work. Eventually he develops a high degree of energy sensitivity, so much so he can sense the energies of others and respond them—as if he had the powers of Snake, Black Tortoise, or Nine Earth.

Know your gifts. Exercise your gifts. And watch yourself blossom into all that you can be.
